At Code-Ed, we understand that many schools value Joy Allcock's resources and want to continue using them. Recently, we've heard concerns from schools that they might be unable to do so unless these resources are accompanied by Ministry of Education (MOE)-accredited Structured Literacy PLD. Some believe only resources promoted by PLD providers are approved for classroom use.
We want to clarify that this is not the case. The Ministry of Education has confirmed that educators in New Zealand have the professional autonomy to choose resources and programmes that best fit their students' needs .
Joy Allcock's resources, developed through years of research, are evidence-proven to deliver impressive results, closing gaps in literacy achievement and ensuring equitable learning outcomes for all students.
